Awoken
And Ripped from frozen earth
My slumber abruptly disrupted
From a restless sleep I am rebirthed
Prophesized and despised
This second coming- unsanctified
Alone- this wicked soul survives.
O, but we’re it not for me
To reap from barren fields
Eternally I've failed
I’ve let it slip away
This will not consume me
I shall return to what is mine
This is not an answer
This is not goodbye!
And in the dead of night
When you call my name
Please understand things will not be the same
The one you've known is now dead and gone,
Deliverance through pain,
Prophesizer & the Dawn
At night I move
A distant attitude
O, but I owe it all to you,
For you took it all away
Eternally I’ll sit,
Forevermore in vain!
It seems that
They’ve found me
My back against the wall
This is not surrender
On this day I cannot not fall!
And in the dead of night
When you call my name
Please understand things will not be the same
The one you've known is now dead and gone,
Deliverance through pain
Prophesizer & the Dawn!
And in the dead of night
Call my name
It will not be the same
Call my name
It will not be the same
O, slumbering one
You are awoken...
Rise from your tomb...
Rise from your tomb…
And fall in line.
And in the dead of night
When you call my name,
please understand that things will not be the same no
the one you know is now dead and gone,
deliverance through pain,
Prophesizer & the Dawn
...and the dawn
When all is said and over,
And night is done
Who left to stand beside me
And face the morning sun
To rule in arrogance
Or die in shame?
One things for certain
It will not be the same!

Oh, this album annihilates. My inner Gorguts fan was floored at Mike's wailing vocals, the warping guitar trickery, and the heavy violence of the dissonant drums. But let's not forget the bass! It hides, slithering about during the brief downtime sections, and appears in full force, creating a layer of hollowness in contrast to the sharp guitars. What an excellent album! Frankly, I loved Malignant Reality, but I adore the power and prowess of this album. A new disso-death standard has been set! barlface

Heaviest thing I’ve heard all year along with Altarage. Okay I’ve been listening to this record for the past two weeks and it just gets better and better. Dissonant grooves galore Jacob Ballance

This is a solid debut that is a showcase of potential above all else. Nothing here wowed me, but I would bet money that their next record is going to make waves. I agree with Bart that the middle third of the project is the strongest stretch. zirtonic
